NO FOOLIN'

Whoda thunk it? A Republican president switching from capitalism to socialism ... taking over private businesses and creating a taxpayer funded bailout of the wealthiest corporations in the history of the world. The resulting cost to each of us will dwarf the tax cut and stimulus check he gave us. And it will be taxes ...in the open or (not so) hidden... like inflation, which is the result of the govt printing $$$ to cover the cost of the bailout. The cost to you and me will make us wish for an Obama "raise" in taxes.

And he did it with another "the sky is falling" story. First he met with Congressional leaders flanked by Colin Powell and Don Rumsfeld (anyone remember Rummy?) saying that America could only be saved by invading Iraq. Now, a trillion dollars later, he walks into a meeting flanked by Paulson and Vernanke telling Congressional leaders that the only way to save America is to destroy capitalism.How ironic that the free market guys' idea of an ownership society is for government to own the American financial system. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice ... just shoot me and get it over with! If you had told me that this much damage could be done to Americans in 8 short years without firing a shot, I would have had you institutionalized.

Ask yourself how bad would it have to get to lose ALL trust of the Republican Party? How much evidence do you need? How much Kool-Aid have you consumed? Hello....ooo, McFly.... wake up. You don't have to become a Democrat, just an Independent.
