ONE DROP OF GOVERNMENT RACISM IS TOO MUCH

The race for the Democrat Party’s presidential nominee has awakened me to ONE INESCAPABLE FACT. Despite the gains America has made for democracy through the Civil Rights Movement, the nucleus of democracy --- equal standing in the eyes of the law for all citizens …. still eludes us.

Our government, through the Census process, continues to promote the concept that African American, Negroid, blackness is inferior. The “one drop” principle, that if a person has so much as a single drop of blood of black lineage, they are black. I don’t have an instant solution, especially with so many Southerners in Congress. But let’s start with adding a new category …multiracial. Not that there’s anything wrong with being black, but let’s change the rules on the racists and see what happens. Then we can proudly show the world that our form of government, a work in progress, is making progress.
